Game rules will vary from tournament to tournament. Scorekeepers and WIAA certified officials will enforce all game rules. Tournament director has the right to overrule all decisions.
All Next Level Series tournament schedules will be released 4 days prior to the tournament date. To ensure quality play we will not schedule any long breaks. Teams may suggest time preferences by email. Next Level will do its best to accomodate but can not gurantee.
A no-show is failure to notify of your team's absence at least 4 days prior to tournament. Forfeiture occurs when your time is 15 mins late to a scheduled game. There will be a 5 min grace period after which a 10 minute timer will be set. If your team is not on the court with 5 players ready to play by the end of the timer, your team will forfeit.
In the event of a forfeiture or no-show, teams will be suspended from Next Level Basketball series. The length of each suspension varies by circumstance but could range from just one tournament to permanent ban. We want to do our best to ensure no forfeiture or no shows happen.
Next Level Basketball Series wants to ensure the best experience for everyone involved. Sportsmanship plays a huge role in that experience. We ask that every coach, player, ref, and fan behave with good sportsmanship. Sportsmanship violations will be handled by the tournament director. Violations can range from removal from tournament to permanent ban. We want to do our best to ensure violations do not occur.
